Major parade and celebration in North Korea

What's in a name?

So, you want to know where the verity•think name came from?  Essentially, it came from three very different yet strangely related places:

  1. To highlight the fact that I am sharing my thoughts - not those of an organization or group (i.e. groupthink) - in hopes of collaborating with others in the spirit of an open, virtual think tank.,
  2. To pay respect to the concept of doublethink, outlined by George Orwell in 1984, which had a huge impact on me while working in North Korea, and
  3. To make a play on my surname, Verity, which is defined as “a true principle or belief, esp. one of fundamental importance”.

Not much else to the story.
